‘The Surface of Ghosts’ by Caroline Hagood
But this time, I feel storm patterns inside that indicate the writing is finally coming. Rough patches of words. Slashes of image threatening to tear open my inner systems. Before it goes away, I shove green beans in my mouth, and start typing so that one day I can read my own name on the surface of ghosts.
